went back to Jurong Junior today.. Once i stepped in there, I felt.. wow.. youth exurberance.. haha.. i feel so young again. lol. hmm, i see changes everytime i visit the place. This time, the newly renovated canteen is up, the staff room had a facelift to accommodate more teaching staff. There a shop selling ice cream, and another is SAF-equivalent-giftshop. lol.. N ya, not 4geting the cafe on the 3rd floor... tat was the 1st project tat kicked off JJC's "entrepreneur drive".. the thing abt the cafe is.. it SHUCKS! heard tat it wasnt the original owner.. the current one is the new boss..
Y it shucks? cos.. er.. david n me went to order mocha ice-kachang Ice Blended Mocha @ $2. Ok, i noe tat for $2, I cant ask for anything much.. Well the cup was pretty small.. n i accepted tat.. The worst thing is: I tot i had mocha ice-kachang. Imagine trying to suck all the shredded ice thru the straw. Thank god tat it was only a small cup.
N... yar, not 4getting the main aim of the trip.. is to have a chat with my tutors.. heh heh. Saw Mdm Chee, Mdm Tay, David and Mr Chin. Well, these are the few left who had taught me... n remembered me.
Oh yar, not 4getting Mdm Lee... Lee Keng Chin.. the chinese tutor... I shall dedicate this paragraph to her. Well, while i stubbornly continue to retake my chinese for the 2nd time (n yesh, only me in my class), she continue to teach me with her full effort. Even though there's only me in the whole class who is retaking chinese, she did not merge the classes (well, i like it the way it is). N.. emmhmm.. although i din score well, but.. haha.. i improved. to a B3.. yeayea.. It's her effort. It's her dedication. Thank You! Btw, just heard tat she's on maternity leave.. wow.. so happy for her.. haha.. wonder when she will come back..
Staff movements were not abnormal.. but @ the scale JJ's experiencing, i tink it's havoc. 2yrs on. I tink, the number of teachers who remained since end of 2002 is.. at the most.. 20. yea. such high turnover rate.
walked around the canteen.. wow.. still see the fruit juice stallholder, the indian stall, and the irin gan's grandma.. the chicken rice stall holder. heh heh
er.. just incase u are still drooling abt the ice cream shop tat i mentioned earlier on, here's some facts for u..The icecream is supposedly low in fat n cal. It's $2 per scoop (so ex..).. but it's very nice.. smooth.. haha.. wanted more scoops.. but i'm not the one paying.. so..emm hmm.. :D
well,tat's all for my trip back to JJ.. hope to go back again somedae.. at least.. not me alone again...
