erm.. are hackers on the rage now? YESH I MEAN NOW... earlier, on Sunday, i received the bogus email from "support@dbs.com.sg" mail, asking me to verify my acct thru filling the fields(which included my UserID and PIN) in the email. tat one, i managed to see thru the ruse, for there is a slight difference.
Next, i saw the news report from MSNBC abt the computer files held hostage. WTH! even the ONES n ZEROES files can be kidnapped! this cyber world is getting shitty..
And.. just as i was reading the report, i received an email, supposedly from Microsoft, requesting me to update my windows using the attachment (update.exe) in the mail. WTH siah!
hackers nowadays are on a totally different dimension.. and so rampant now. they are using bogus accounts tat looked so real. last time, it was just some stupid yahoo or hotmail account sending an attachment with 2 words: Shit u, hot babes, thank you, .... and today, it's from MNCs.. i can show u the DBS one.. (the microsoft mail i've deleted oredi...oops)
anyway, do take lots of attention..
