Guess many have heard about the song 《老鼠爱大米》lately.. but, do u noe tat it 1st came out onto the web in 2003??
According to Zaobao.com, this song has embroiled itself into a legal battle over the rights of the song. erm.. i'm not going to go into the details of the legal aspect.. ahaha.. :D
Wad i wan to tok abt is the success of this song 《老鼠爱大米》... it has now appeared in 2 formats: the song and the story format. And.. guess wad? Its movie version is going to be screened in China in time to come (the movie has oredi been made. it could be marketed in the form of a DVD...)
How on earth can one song by some unknown person kicked such a storm? In Hongkong, TWINS had a version of it. Kelly Chen wanted to incoporate the song into her concert in the form of a short musical. Someone even impersonated Andy Lau into singing tat song! ahaha.. of cos, tat's the act of PIRATES.. :D In Singapore, we have our newbie to sing it.
