welll was too boliao.. was browsing thru frenster. looking @ some of my frens' frens.. den i stumble across this section.. yar.. 1 of u will find it familiar.. cos i kop it from ur fren.. (tink u'll feel like whacking me now... =P).. anyways.. have decided to share it.. so.. so wat if i kanna whack? it's actually a story with the same bottomline tat everyone has been saying... but this approach is kinda different.. do read..
I love eating sushi buffets. Lots & lots of sushi circulating on the conveyor belt I begin by taking some of the sushi, which I fancy off the conveyor belt and indulge in them. When I am already half full, I began to look at the conveyor belt endlessly, hoping that the ones I desire would appear.
Life of singles and sushi bar r related: the 1 thing u desire eludes you. And those u dun wan keep popping up. The very one u r looking seems to be MIA, while streams of unsuitable suitors come a-knocking.
It is tough in life when every1 around u seems to be getting what (& who) they want, while ure still struggling to find ur dreams. At these times, all u can do is to wait quietly.
But when I realize that I cant go on being hungry anymore, and finding the sushi on the belt irresistible, I finally lift off a plate of sushi from the conveyor belt that I thought is not within my acceptance limits. Nevertheless, I decided to give it a try! When I have come to terms with the taste of this initially unacceptable sushi, uncontrollably, I began to take another plate.
But as ironically as it is, a steady stream of plates bearing the sushi I want, appears. Without having second thoughts, I quickly lift off one plate from the conveyor belt. Now that there are 2 plates of sushi on the table, which one should I choose?!
Life is full of ups & downs. Maybe, this is what that makes life so interesting and exciting. I once came across these meaningful lines in the magazine:
A poor man is not that one without a cent,
A poor man is that one without a dream.
So,
Aim high. Dream big. It does not harm. When u reach for the stars, u may not get one, but u will not come up with a handful of mud either.
Sometimes, we live such a stressful life; we need to go back to the basis of life.
